Are you using the booking options? However, it is a very interesting technique to maximize its filling.

But not only:
— you can track all your incoming requests and relaunch them
— you can promote the most interesting requests on a date
— create a sense of urgency in your customer, he knows that he is not alone on the spot and will confirm more quickly
— you feed your customer database because you save this customer's contact sheet in your systems

The options can be done in several ways:

The Tic Tac option

How does it work? You offer the customer a reservation option for a period of one week for example. During this week the customer in question has priority over the space requested.
What do we do with the other requests? During this week, you of course take options for other customers by explaining that for the moment they do not have priority on the date.

The +? It pushes your customer to make a decision very quickly.
My advice? Attention this operation is interesting if you make options for short periods of time...

The Speedy option

How does it work? Quite simply, the first customer who confirms is the first customer to have the space. In this case let the customer know that there are already one or more options on the date. And explain the rules of the game to him well!
What do we do with the other requests? In this case you can take as many options as you want on the same date/space.

My advice? When you raise your options, prioritize requests with the best CA/margin potential.

The Prems option

How does it work? Here, it is the customer who first makes the request who has priority without time limit. Then the 2nd customer to make a request is 2nd, etc.
What do we do with the other requests? Same, you can take as many options as you want, you just have to remember the order.

The +? System that is generally appreciated by customers who are not worried about losing their place.
My advice? If you have a great request that comes in 3rd place and customers are ready to confirm, you can call 1 & 2 again by explaining the situation to them and giving them an ultimatum.
